Fall 2012 Trend: Nevermind (Again)
“Grunge style,” Marc Jacobs told WWD in 1992, “is about doing everything wrong.” And with that, he turned out his landmark spring 1993 collection for Perry Ellis that got both him and then-president Robert Duffy fired.
There’s something eerily Brothers Grimm meets Barbie about this that I love.

This is my newest addition. It’s on the center of my back, and was kind of a last minute tattoo. Chelsea, an apprentice at Evolution in Mantua, NJ, a shop that I have been going to for a while for two of my other pieces, was finishing up her hours to become an official artist and was doing tattoos for 20 dollars, so I figured why not? She does a lot of really cute animals doing human things, so I decided to combine the love for my parrot Oliver (named after the old movie Oliver Twist), and my love for drinking tea. It’s probably my silliest tattoo, but I absolutely love it.
I love this. It is the silliest, yet most non-tacky tattoo I have seen in a while. Delightful and so cheeky!
